Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) Commissioner-General Godwin Matanga yesterday applauded schools run by the police force for excelling in last years Grade Seven public examinations, urging members of staff to maintain the high standards and make ZRP schools the most sought after. Officiating at the ZRP primary schools merit awards ceremony at Morris Depot in Harare, Matanga disclosed the police schools got an average of a 96% pass rate, compared to 95% the previous year. Thirty-four students from ZRP schools attained five units in last year’s Grade Seven examinations with 20 of the pupils from ZRP Support Unit.
