The Government has allowed Glen View 5 Primary School to continue classes after they were satisfied with interventions taken to fight against cholera. The school had been closed 2 weeks ago to allow renovations to its sewer system and water supply as its borehole was contaminated. Grade 5 to 7 were still attending school however under strict monitoring. Teachers were making sure that they had brought in drinking water from home and also provided hand sanitisers to wash their hands and food sharing was forbidden. The school will now receive clean and safe water twice a week and a 5000 litre tank is being installed.
